You have something worth saying.
You just can't seem to say it on camera.
Support for moving through the creative process for sensitive creators who keep running into fear, anxiety, and overwhelm when they try to record themselves.
Does this feel familiar?
You feel a quiet call to create something meaningful on YouTube.
But when you try to move forward, something shifts.
Fear of being seen appears
Your nervous system becomes overwhelmed
The inner critic gets loud
You freeze, procrastinate, or abandon the video
And you start wondering: Why is this so hard for me?
There’s nothing wrong with you
For many sensitive people, visibility and creative risk activate the nervous system in powerful ways.
When that happens, pushing harder usually makes things worse.
Instead of creating momentum, it creates more overwhelm, more self-criticism, and more shutdown.
But there is another way forward.
A nervous-system-friendly approach
Instead of forcing yourself forward, coaching focuses on learning to work with your nervous system.
Together we explore things like:
Understanding your nervous system patterns
Recognizing fear without letting it control your decisions
Separating the inner critic from your real creative voice
Designing small steps that feel possible instead of overwhelming
Building agency through gentle, consistent progress
Over time, those small steps can build real momentum.
What coaching sessions look like
Coaching is collaborative and practical.
In our sessions, we might:
Explore what’s currently blocking your creative work.
Understand what your nervous system is reacting to.
Design small, manageable experiments for the next week or two.
Reflect on what happened and adjust the next step together.
The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is to learn how to move forward without abandoning yourself.
The Result
Over time, people often experience:
Less shame around their nervous system reactions.
More agency and confidence.
The ability to take significant creative steps.
A growing sense that their voice matters.
Sometimes the first step is simply sharing something publicly for the first time.
And sometimes that one step helps someone else.

Why I became a coach
I spent two years trying to start a YouTube channel before I posted a single video.
I bought the gear, wrote down ideas, and watched how-to videos. But in all that time, I never once pressed record.
What I didn't know then was that I was living with complex trauma.
The freeze response, the inner critic, the anxiety, the shame spiral every time I tried to be seen. I ignored all of it and hid behind a list of excuses.
I didn't have the right niche.
I had too little time to work on it.
I didn't know enough about making videos.
But those were only a smoke screen.
I didn't realize my nervous system was running a very old program.
Once I finally understood what was actually happening, everything changed — not because the fear went away, but because I stopped fighting my nervous system and started working with it. I went on to build a YouTube channel with over 17,000 subscribers.
I'm still not "healed." I'm still right in the middle of it. And that's exactly why I do this work.
Interested in working together?
Tell me a little about where you are and what kind of support you're looking for.
This gives us a chance to talk about:
What you're hoping to create and share.
What feels difficult right now.
Whether coaching might be helpful.
I review each response personally and will reach out to schedule a call if it sounds like a good fit.
Is Deep by Design coaching for you?
Coaching may be a good fit if you:
Feel called to create and share videos on YouTube.
Keep encountering resistance during the creation process, such as the freeze response, avoidance, and a persistent inner critic.
Have a sensitive nervous system shaped by difficult experiences.
Want to move forward sustainably.
Coaching may not be the right fit if you are looking for:
Aggressive accountability or productivity coaching.
A high-pressure or performance-focused approach.
A therapeutic or clinical approach to healing.
Note: If you're currently in crisis or actively working through trauma, I'd gently encourage you to prioritize talk therapy first. Coaching can be a wonderful complement once that foundation is in place.
Why people usually reach out
Most people who work with me are in one of these situations:
They want to create and share videos on YouTube, but fear of being seen stops them.
They have lots of video ideas, but keep getting stuck in freeze.
Their nervous system becomes overwhelmed whenever they try to record or post.
If that sounds familiar, coaching can help you move forward gently and sustainably.
You don’t have to force yourself forward alone.
